I would like to ask a huge favor of you beginning this week! There is a really cool event coming to Gastonia in October! Billy Graham's grandson, Will Graham is coming to Simms Ball Park for a crusade. This is his first crusade in the - even though he's been preaching throughout the world for a while now! We get to be the first crusade in our whole country! Some day, when he is as well-known as Billy Graham, we can tell our friends and grandchildren that we went to his first crusade. But better than being "the first" - we have a chance to be a huge part and really big help to Will in reaching hundreds or maybe even thousands of people who don't know Jesus!
You can be a most important part of this lifetime event!
I would like to ask you to pray for Will Graham for safe travel, for good health, and for God to prepare him to speak to the people in our area! I would also like to ask you to pray for all the people who are working really hard now, preparing for this event in October!
I understand there will be a special 'children's service' especially for you guys on the Saturday before the crusade! I've been to one of these before with Billy Graham's crusade - it's gonna be a blast!!! I can hardly wait!
